I hope you’ve been enjoying the Holiday Party so far. You guys had some great guesses on what’s coming up for January.

For those of you who guessed a dino party, you're absolutely right!

MORE computer problems...(Windows 8 stuck on Restarting Screen)

Well, here I am, posting from my laptop again. Ok, so as you probably know I had trouble with my old 2009 Compaq Presario CQ5210Y PC with Windows 7 (the hard disk went out, click here to read that post) so I got a HP Pavilion P-2330 with Windows 8 and 6 GB of memory for Christmas. (click here to read that post) It's been a good computer so far, it's really fast. BUT, I've had a few problems with programs not being compatible with it because of Windows 8. But my biggest problem so far is today I turned on the computer and sat down. The login screen appeared, and when I went to put my password in I accidentally hit a key on the keyboard (I don't know which one, but for some reason I think it was either the Windows key or the Control key.) Whatever key it was the computer went away from the login screen and said "Configuring Windows Updates, 0% complete, do not turn off your computer." So I waited. And Waited. And Waited. And Waited. And Waited. Finally I noticed in the bottom right hand corner it said "Your PC will restart in One day to finish installing important updates" so of course I assumed this meant it was going to boot up and tomorrow sometime it would ask to restart. WELL, finally it changed to 10% complete. Then 15%, which it stayed on for about an hour, then it finally jumped to 28% and eventually to 100% and then said Restarting. So I thought it would restart in about 20 seconds and I could use it. I was a bit off about the 20 seconds part, because that was at 4:30 and it's 6:23 now and it STILL says Restarting...So, my laptop which has Windows Vista is on the desk in front of the computer again..

Update: December 28th, 2012 - 7:33 PM - It's finally back on, after 4 hours. I held down the power button until it went off then restarted it, lol.

Holiday cookies pin :)

Ok, so there's a new pin out in CP. It's a Holiday Cookies pin and it's in the underground pool. I would put a picture here but my internet is running incredibly slow (google.com won't load) so I can't login. I will put a picture though whenever my crummy internet service finally decides to stop running slow.

Santa's workshop

So Santa's workshop was in the lounge in 2009, 2010 and 2011 so I figured it would be this year too. But it wasn't.

I thought it wasn't going to be here this year, until I met Saraapril in the town, and she told me it was in the Ski Village. Thanks Saraapril! :)

And it was! Lol I love how the destroyed Everyday Phoning Facility has been made to look...Festive..

LOL In the Sleigh ride there's a free item(s), the Light Bulb Hat!! :D Lol this is such a hilarious hat..

Hey, sorry I didn't post this earlier, I wasn't home, we just got back. I tried to post from my phone earlier (the place where we were has WiFi) but something went wrong and the post was deleted when I tried to publish it and either the phone messed up or the WiFi went down and I couldn't write another post.

More still of the Inverted Colors bug...

So I just logged into CP, and I got a notification that 3 friends were online. So, I opened my Buddy List and...

And by the way, none of the "online" friends were actually on, all except for Skyler283. BUT, look at Nicki4797...this is the online version of the inverted colors bug. The same bug that's in the igloos with the like feature still hasn't been fixed..

Update: December 19th, 2012 - 5:09 PM - I managed to get a picture of the like feature bug, in Saraapril's igloo, for some reason it worked there and not in mine.

Sorry this was taken in "fast mode", this computer lags on CP no matter what room I'm in.

Even MORE of the "Inverted Player Colors" bug and new igloo bug...

So I was just decorating my igloo for Christmas, when I noticed a new bug.

As you probably know you're supposed to be able to see WHO liked your igloo...
I left my igloo and came back and...

It was fixed but the inverted colors bug is here too.
(I was going to put a picture here but when I clicked on it to take a picture of it it disappeared again...more bugs)

More of the "Inverted Colors" friends list bug

So I was just playing Puffle Rescue and exited the game. I got a notification that Saraapril was online (which she wasn't, that's just another bug that happens all the time). On the little popup that tells you someone's online it--- Well, take a look:

Also it looks like Saraapril's outfit is different on the online notification than on her player card :|
?? This bug is a little annoying but actually kind of cool lol (The inverted colors one, not the "So-and-so is online" one, that one is REALLY irritating)

Hello Penguins!

Hope you're as excited about the upcoming party as we are! We've heard lots of different questions from you, so I thought we'd answer a few of them here on the blog.

When does the party start?
Next week - December 20!

Which mascot will be visiting? Will Aunt Arctic be here this year?
Rockhopper will be here on his own this year to give more people the chance to meet him! You can bet he'll be telling fantastical, festive stories and causing a ruckus with snowball fights at the Dock and the Beach. He may even be giving out a new free background...



Where do I get the new Cookie, Blue Music Notes and Frozen Smiley emotes?
The new emotes are going to be added to the Emote menu in everyone's chat bar December 20 to January 2! Here's what you'll see:



Use 'em like crazy, because they'll only be available during the Holiday Party!

How do I win the holiday Igloo Contest?
The Holly Jolly Igloo Contest starts TODAY! Judges will be looking for creativity, originality, and tons of holiday cheer. For more details, check this week's Club Penguin Times.

So as I was posting about the NEWEST Friends List bug, I scrolled ALLLLLLLLL the way down to the bottom of the list and guess who was there? Herbert P Bear, I guess the old glitch was finally fixed. I tried to add him when I met him at OB, SEVERAL TIMES, and it never worked quite right but now...

YAY!! Lol I wonder why the button's still like that even though I have the background? Also I never got a notification saying "You are now friends with Herbert P Bear".

Really weird Friends List Bug

So yesterday I was on CP taking pictures for the posts about the new updates, and I clicked on my friends list for whatever reason, and, well, take a look:

.... ??? See what I mean? The colors are kind of blurred and ... well, odd. All except for Saraapril, her colors are normal lol.

My friends list is still like this at the moment.

The 12 days of Christmas - Day Two - December 13th, 2012

The item featured today was the first (and to my knowledge only) item that sort of "changed". Even though it was supposed to be a surprise, a .swf of the item was leaked onto the internet before December 25th and many penguins, myself included, found out what it was ahead of time. Many people didn't until Christmas though.

What a mess! Herbert destroyed so much data. Personnel files, PSA backups, the entire Field-Ops mainframe. Right now I'm not even sure what can be fixed.

Rockhopper's Migrator Closer to Shore/COOKIES for Change????

If you look through the telescope on the beacon you will see that Rockhopper and Yarr are closer to shore now!

YAY!! According to the Club Penguin Times issue number 373, Rockhopper will land at the beach on December 20th, the day the Christmas party starts.
Also in the paper, it says that .... Well, take a look:

COOKIES For change??? *LICKS LIPS* Honestly I think this would work out BETTER than Coins for Change, if only I could help make the cookies without eating 32,000 of them...(LOL)

Igloo Catalog December 2012 CHEATS :)

Today a new igloo upgrades catalog has been added. As always there are some hidden igloos, and I'm going to show them to you. Here we go!

Secret Stone Igloo - click the small rock on the beach.

Snow Globe igloo - Click the footprints in the Snowy backyard igloo.

Estate Igloo - Click the Window in the Fresh baked Gingerbread igloo.

Grey Ice Castle - Click the door of the pink ice castle.

Shadowy Keep - Click the row of windows on the Dragon's Lair.

Secret Deluxe Stone Igloo - Click the door of the Deluxe Snow Igloo.

Well, that's all the cheats this catalog has.
